Anybody using 5G Phones -- performance compared with Broadband anybody

Hi folks

assuming the data plans aren't hideously expensive I was wondering what the 5G service would be like if the standard Broadband systems become "Stressed" -- loads more working from home, streaming multi-media, video conferencing and skype , "Virtual parties" etc etc.

I haven't signed up for 5G yet but for those that have it --is it worth it compared with "Bog standard --decent Broadband" and 4G.

Note here I am referring to the 5 and 4G phone service --not the 5GHZ wifi system on standard broadband.

It will depend on what 5g as there are 3 versions the lowest which has been rolled out across the states isn't much better than 4g in UK I can get up to 90 met on 4g which is cheap the very high speed 5g can download gigabyte speeds but very limited range. For PC the limiting factor is network cards on do 1gig so you would need to use wireless but could a pc food with 4+gig speeds?

Use a coverage checker to see if there might be problems. Sometimes you only get a signal outdoors. In my workplace almost nobody with a 5g phone gets a signal on any network and use the building's Wi-Fi for internet or Wi-Fi enabled calling for phone calls (only supported on some networks and some phone models)
