    MS forcing me into Win11

I'm currently running two OSs on this PC, Win11 Pro and Win10 Pro. The Win10 Pro version is 19045.4355.

I want to update Win10 to 19045.4412 but every time I boot into Win10, it starts downloading Win11. I stop it by unplugging the ethernet cable and then rebooting back into Win11.

    So, I have two questions:
    1) How do I stop it from forcing the Win11 update on me
    2) How can I then to the update to 19045.4355.

One thing I might be able to do is disconnect the ethernet cable and using the files I downloaded from UUPDUMP, use W10UI to apply the latest update.

But then, I have to leave the ethernet unconnected or Win11 will continue the download and do the upgrade.

Approaches to interrupting the existing update were covered above; the method to block a subsequent attempt to upgrade to Win 11 (which of course shouldn't happen automatically but does in some cases) has been widely published and again is linked above- setting 'target feature update' to 22H2 - feasible in Home and Pro.

    As said above, use
    Reset Windows Update - TenForumsTutorials
    then
    Specify Target Version - TenForumsTutorials

I used the Target version procedure over a year ago on a fully-Windows-11-compliant Windows 10 computer and it has never tried to update to Windows 11.

    All the best,

Thanks to everyone for the Specify Target Version info and link. I did that and it appears to work as it stopped trying to download Win11 and did the current update, instead.
