    Windows11 pro installation partition problems

Hi everyone. noob here so hello!
I haven't installed windows for a very long time now and things have changed greatly.
I'm trying to install win11 pro off a usb. the c drive is 110gb and already had windows running on it, so a clean install is required as ive run out of space for updates. I have gotten as far as the screen (where do you want to install windows?) is shown.
To get to this i have had to go to regedit first and add LabConfig/bypassTPMCheck/BypassSecureBootCheck to Hkey/local/machine to get to this screen.
My screen shows 4 partitions. Partition1 100mb to system, Partition2 110gb to primary, Partition3 517mb to OEM and Partition4 452mb to unallocated space. this is where I'm stuck. I have tried to delete the partitions but get error message pop up (we couldn't delete the selected partition.[Error:0x800701b1].
I have also tried the diskpart method but again I get an error: (A device which does not exist was specified) message.

Can anyone help me from ere please?

Perhaps try the Clean Install Windows 11 tutorial on ElevenForums for version-appropriate guidance?

    Hope this helps...

Hi, first, be aware this is tenforums, supporting... yes.. Win 10.

    For Win 11 see elevenforum.com.

    Important
When clean installing Windows, typical users install to unallocated space
That is a region on the disk where no partition exists.

Windows creates its own partitions (4 for UEFI, fewer for legacy BIOS/MBR) when it installs.. you do not have to do this for it.

If partitions already exist on the disk for a Windows installation and you are installing Windows as a single installation (not dual boot) then you delete any existing partitions part of that existing Windows installation

This is covered in the tutorial linked above, and can be done after booting your PC from the installation disk. (See the tutorial).
The Delete option is shown in your 2nd screenshot.

Have you successfully booted your PC from the installation disk?

Please edit your profile with ALL your hardware specs. It will help us to help you
System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

    - Despite your Win 10 is Legacy - MBR, you can upgrade your current Win 10 to Win 11 (using the workarounds)
    How to upgrade from Win10 21h2 to Win 11 22h2 - A guide | Windows 11 Forum

    - Win 11 normally is installed as UEFI-GPT. As I don't have your computer specs can't say if it has a UEFI BIOS.

    - On BIOS, set Disk mode to AHCI, not RAID
Select OS mode = UEFI or Select OS mode = other + UEFI (depends on BIOS).
Disable fast boot and secure boot (you can turn it on after installation)

Windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install as Legacy-MBR you must boot the installation drive as Legacy
To install as UEFI-GPT you must boot the installation drive as UEFI.

If you have a UEFI BIOS, you should install as UEFI-GPT
Detach any other drives (SATA or Power cable) from the MB.

During POST, press F12(?) to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the USB drive. USB UEFI (Name) and USB (Name). Select USB UEFI (Name) if you want to install as UEFI-GPT or select USB (name) if you want to install as Legacy-MBR.
Go to install and delete ALL partitions on the main drive till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.

This guide aims to fix the error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI system, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."
