How can i create a uefi bootble iso of a uefi bootable usb stick

I had a legacy bootiso file (i think Linux based) which i made uefi bootable on a flash drive using Rufus. Now i am looking for a way to save this uefi bootable flas drive as a (uefi) bootable iso for archiving or to use with other programs like ventoy.

It is NOT a windows installation but a set of free utilities that may be used to use in such case that the windows PC does not boot up one day

    Thank you

    Windows 10 iso:

    a) When downloaded from the Microsoft website can be used on computers that have BIOS Legacy or UEFI:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

    b) This Tuesday Dec 8, 2020 Microsoft has scheduled a cumulative update and an iso update
Windows 10 20H2 update fixes broken in-place upgrade feature

    c) If there is a working computer and an internet connection Windows 10 iso are available for fresh downloads

    d) There are websites that have older iso:
Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool
    TechBench by WZT (v4.1.1)

    e) This is a video and an additional method to create an iso from the Microsoft website:
Britec Uploaded a new video, Thought I would share it with you.

    f) For possible boot failure consider making Macrium backup images and using Macrium boot rescue:
Macrium Software | It’s our business to protect your data
Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

If you have a Win10 iso file that \sources\install.* isn't bigger than 4G, you can simply mount the iso on a Win 10 computer (or use 7zip on a win 7 computer) and copy all files and folders to a Fat32 flash drive.
To prepare the drive to be able to boot as legacy or UEFI, open a CMD window as administrator type:
    diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the USB drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk)
    clean
    convert mbr
    create part primary
    select part 1
    format fs=fat32 quick
    assign
    active
    exit (to exit diskpart)

You do understand that @perfection has a USB flash drive that they want to make an ISO image of?

How to Convert a Bootable USB to an .iso File

Or, really, you can just create a zip file with the contents of the USB flash drive. UEFI boots from just the file folder structure on the flash drive, there is nothing special about it at all.

NavyLCDR, you're right, I misunderstood and thought that OP wanted to create a boot able drive out of a Win 10 installation iso.

ISO format(s) relate to CD or DVD media and hence NERO will give you the result you are looking for. Instead of burning to media you can export to ISO File in NERO easily after you have compiled your CD/DVD content.
