Your Device Is not Ready Vs 2004

I have 2 desktop computers. Speccy reports on each one attached.
The Old computer, computer A is about 10 years old. The new computer, Computer B is about 6 months old. I made an image of Computer A when it was on Windows 10 1903. I restored this image to Computer B, I then upgraded both computers to 1909 with no issues using the same ISO image file. Both computer working flawlessly.
I am trying to install 2004. Using the latest ISO image downloaded from the Microsoft site v 34201 3 other laptops have been upgraded with this image with no problem and 2 other laptops have had a Clean install with this same ISO image with no issues.
Computer A has a message in Windows Update that says, Your Device Is Not Ready. (See attached) Computer B does not have this message. Using the same ISO image 2004 as other computers that were successful, upgrading each desktop, both fail with the error
0xC1900101-0x40017 Installation failed in the Second_Boot phase
I have Updated each nVidia driver from the nVidia page to the latest driver for each computer. There is 104GB Free space on each C: drive.
I have also done the following
    All Windows Updates
    Disable Memory Integrity
Use DISM Tool and SFC /scannow
No Yellow flags in Device Manager. All drivers updated to latest Gigabyte drivers for these boards.

    Computer A http://speccy.piriform.com/results/h...emGq3rdE8OWxKj
    Computer B http://speccy.piriform.com/results/M...tsBh6gohMUZ1xm

I do not know what Microsoft is waiting for and what it needs to do to Computer A.to make it Ready. I also don't know what to do with Computer B to do the Upgrade. Any help would be welcomed.

I'm no expert, but I've been reading a lot about Windows10 2004. From what I understand, 2004 still has some issues, and so MS is withholding the update for machines it knows aren't going to be compatible. Once they get the bugs ironed out, you'll get the upgrade. Note in their message to you "there's nothing you need to do at this time".

Now for the truly knowledgeable folks to weigh in....

The upgrade error code: 0xC1900101-0x40017 is typically caused by a problematic driver.

I hate that message "your device is not ready" when Windows is not ready for your device!

    Your Device Is Not Ready
No known way of finding out how to make it ready, alas. You can review the main points here:
Known and Resolved issues for Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004

    - but could be something else.

    Given it
    is about 10 years old.
    - it's unlikely to magically become ready e.g. by later drivers becoming available. You are running in unspecified territory at your own risk.

Even if an out of spec. older machine runs one build of Win 10, there's no guarantee whatsoever it won't have problems with the next. If that old PC runs 1909 successfully, I suggest you save time and effort and sleepless nights, and stay with 1909.

2004 probably doesn't add too much of interest, unless you want PIN sign in to Safe Mode and to chat to Cortana, say...

I get the same message on my Z170, I think it`s hilarious, I don`t even want 2004 yet, so it`s fine with me. You can always install 2004 with the ISO File if you really wanted to.

As stated, my 10 year old desktop gets the message "Your Device is not Ready"
But both my 10 year old Desktop and the 6 month old Desktop both fail when upgrading thru the same ISO image with the message
0xC1900101-0x40017 Installation failed in the Second_Boot phase. The only factor that is the same is that each machine shares the same Image I created from the Old computer. The Drivers on the new computer are different.

Thank you for your reply. Doesn't seem to move on from where you were given comments.

You may be aware of how unlikely it is that failure to upgrade can be readily resolved. See extensive threads by zbook e.g.

I have attached the results of the script in Post #3 from the 10 year old computer. Most of it didn't work.
