Google research indicates you'll need the assistance of software to pull this off.

SIDEBAR -- I was Apple only for 30 years. I wasn't a Kool Aid drinker but simply knew everything Mac toasted everything Windows and Android. (I'm not a gamer.) Apple's superiority stopped being true in 2015.

Unless you absolutely positively have to be an Apple person for some reason I'd GLEEFULLY recommend that you ditch. Asus computers and OnePlus phones offer a very interesting landing pad for switchers. At at savings of around %50.

In my Apple days I could only afford one nice iMac everything 3 years (with AppleCare). In Asus land I can afford a 25 inch 2K monitor, a Mini PC to run it, and an Asus Zenbook Flip laptop -- all with extended warranty -- for less than that one iMac. I will admit the transition to Windows 10 is a bit bumpy and the OS isn't as smooth -- but it's not so bad as to make me go back to Mac. My main complaint is how SLOWLY Windows 10 updates features. They spend half a year introducing features most people don't care about while neglecting obvious things.

In the OnePlus world it's not even a contest. The innovation that made me cheer for Apple is alive and well at Android. The very minute the RealMe X is released in America I'm going to mock people who don't buy one. It's basically a OnePlus 7 'lite' for $260. It's worth at least twice that.

Yes you can. The easiest way is to install a clean Windows 10 on new Mac using Boot Camp Assistant app then overwrite the new Bootcamp partition with a copy of your old one. This will ensure the partitioning and Windows loader in EFI partition are set correctly and don't overwrite any Apple stuff in the shared EFI partition.

    I'd do it like this:

On Old Mac (booted into Windows)
    1. Link your account to Microsoft account if not already done. This is to allow transfer of license. Link Microsoft Account to Windows 10 Digital License
    2. Install Macrium Reflect Free Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free
    3. Create Image of C partition (only) and save it on external USB drive. Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect
    4. Create bootable Macrium rescue USB stick. Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

On New Mac (booted into MacOS)
    5. Download Windows 10 ISO for same version (Home or Pro). Download Windows 10 ISO File
    6. Partition and install this using Boot Camp Assistant app. Install Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp Assistant - Apple Support
    7. Save Boot Camp drivers to USB stick (in case they changed) - this option in Boot Camp Assistant

    On New Mac
    8. Boot from Macrium rescue USB and restore image of C (saved from old Mac) over top of new Bootcamp partition. Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect
    9. Take option from Macrium rescue USB to fix any boot issues Use Macrium Reflect Rescue Media to Fix Windows Boot Issues

On New Mac (booted into Windows)
    10. Boot Windows (press alt on startup) and then install Boot Camp drivers by clicking on Setup.exe on the USB you made in step 7. If Windows Support Software isn't installed after you run Boot Camp Assistant - Apple Support
    11. Transfer license. Use Activation Troubleshooter in Windows 10

Thank you all for your valuable guidance. My challenge is slightly different and I'm not getting encouraging feedback from Apple support community.
I have a Macbook Pro 10,1 retina mid-2102 A1398 with Intel 2.3 GHz Core i7 (I7-3615QM), 8G RAM, 256GB SSD that I have been using for the past 7 years as my primary Windows computer with MS Office, Acrobat Pro and a few other applications for which I do not have the original media. It has been performing very well all this time but I'm running out of free disk space in the Windows partition.
I am considering replacing its original SSD with a larger one and want to ascertain if I can restore my existing Windows installation to the new disk. In a pure Windows machine, it is a no-brainer to create an image and then restore it but I'm told it's not as simple on a Mac.

What will I need to transfer/clone all of my existing Windows partition without having to license and install all of those applications again? Hopefully Microsoft will not treat it as a different computer because I'm only changing the disk.
