Disabled Login screen is not actually disabled.

Hello, I'm on a Local account and have gone through all the setting's changes to disable the password login, and yet still, upon the computer booting up, I'm required to input my password.

I've disabled the "Users must enter a user name and password" field in Netplwiz so I'm not sure why Windows is still asking me for a password.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

Netplwiz below only affects sign in at startup.

Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup

Check to make sure you also have Require sign-in at wakeup below set to "Never".

If it's a local account, why do you have a password set?
    Just remove the password.

In that case, check to see if you may have Ctrl+Alt+Delete secure sign-in enabled by mistake.

Enable or Disable Secure Sign-in with Ctrl+Alt+Delete in Windows 10

Also check your screen saver settings below to make sure On resume, display logon screen is not checked.

Just to note, if you change or remove the password, you'll also need to update netplwiz.

Hello again, so with those changes applied, when the PC starts in the morning, instead of just loading directly to the desktop, I'm seeing a screen which still requires me to press a button to load into windows. Is there a way to disable this as well?

Does it look like the lock screen below? If so, you can disable it using an option in the tutorial below.
