Make it an Admin now.
Change to Admin account type - TenForumsTutorials
And make sure it has a decent password which you've written down somewhere secure yet accessible.
Yes. Do it now.
It is always worth having an additional, password-protected, local, Admin user account spare in case your normal accounts get corrupted in use. The spare one would enable you to get back in control of your computer.
Never reduce a sole Admin to standard level. Windows will not let you do many necessary things without a functioning Admin user account on the computer. There is a fix for it but it is awkward.
I must have missed that part of the thread in which you explained why you wanted to reduce the current Admin to Std [or to remove it]. As long as it is password-protected, you can just let an old & abandoned user account sit there until the cows come home.
Yes, go ahead.
Then make another image once you've sorted out that new Admin user account.
All the best,
Denis
