How can we not have the welcome/splash/lock screen prior to pin
I know that one needs to earn money or that companies need to make a profit but this '1984' world we now live in is asking for too much.
I just reinstalled Windows 10 Pro. When you boot up a screen pops up (it has different names depending on where you look: Turning ON/OFF Splash Screen / How to disable the welcome screen on Windows 10 / Get rid of the Windows 10 lock screen). Regardless of what I try that screen keeps on popping up. This is what I tried:
Msconfig --> check off ‘NoGUIBoot
and
System Properties --> Advanced -->Performance Options --> Visual Effects --> Enable Peek (un checked box)
and
Settings --> Lockscreen -->Show lockscreen background, -->set to Off.
and
Settings/System/Notifications & action --> Notifications --> Show notifications set to Off (and the following 3 as well.
and
regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -->SOFTWARE -->Policies àMicrosoft --> WindowsàNew Key, Rename New Key #1 as PersonalizationàNew DWORD (32-bit) Value -->Rename as NoLockScreen --> change the value from 0 to 1 click OK
Seriously????? Grr ???? I don't know what to think. I am going nuts.
My OS: Windows 10 Pro ver 21H1
