Issues with Booting after Formatting
Hello,
After having booting issues on my Samsung Series 7 All-in-one (i7). I decided to clean reinstall Windows 10. After installing, I am having issues with booting windows 10 and I am left with:
“The Boot Configuration Data file doesn’t contain valid information for an operating system
File: \BCD
Error:0xc0000098”
I tried to enter recovery environment by pressing F1 but it didn’t lead me to where the command prompt is.
So I entered the bios, and went to boot and changed my booting to CSM OS and restarted the computer.
This led me to the startup purple screen where you download Windows 10. I clicked repair this computer and it finally led me to the recovery environment (note: it was significantly slower when loading).
Now, after copying youtube tutorials on “how to fix bootrec/ fixboot access denied” and “repair windows boot partition” I am lost and this is what shows when I “list vol” and “list partition” on diskpart:
Volume 0 E DVD-Rom 0B No Media
Volume 1 V NTFS Partition. 930 GB Healthy
Volume 2 H RAW. Partition. 499 MB Healthy
Volume 3. G. FAT32. Partition. 100 MB
Partition 1. System. 100 MB. 1024KB
Partition 2. Reserved. 16MB. 101 MB
Partition 3. Primary. 930 GB. 117 MB
Partition 4. Recovery. 499MB. 931 GB
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
