    Automatic Repair Black Screen

I need some serious help. My computer is stuck on the Automatic Repair Black Screen. I've seen many posts in a few forums ask for help on this, and I've tried hardkilling my PC three times in a row, and it does NOT bring up a menu or even indicate it detected failed startups.
Just to make sure I wasn't messing up on timing, I killed it thrice the instant the ASUS logo popped up, and I also did so after waiting a bit for the loading dots to pop up.

You can create Windows 10 installation media with Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

Startup Repair is a Windows recovery tool that can fix certain system problems that might prevent Windows from starting. If Windows 10 fails to start correctly two or three times, then the automated Startup Repair system will be invoked.

Startup Repair can only fix certain problems, such as missing or damaged system files. It can't fix hardware failures, such as a failing hard disk or incompatible memory, nor does it protect against virus attacks.

You can run Startup Repair manually from Windows 10 installation media by opening the Windows Recovery Environment menu (Click Repair your Computer at the Setup screen if starting from installation media) and then clicking Troubleshoot and Advanced Options.

If Startup Repair is able to fix the problem, it’ll do so and you’ll be asked to restart the PC. If it isn’t though, perhaps because it’s unable to identify the problem, then you’ll be prompted and given the details of the log file it created during the repair process.

You will be shown the location and name of the repair log file if Startup Repair cannot fix the problem.

Clicking Advanced Options at this point will return you to the Windows Recovery Environment menu, where other repair options are available to you. If you open the log file, you’ll be shown details of all the tests performed by Startup Repair, with any errors discovered detailed. You can use this information to help diagnose and get to the root cause of the problem.

To open log file from the Windows Recovery Environment, click and open the Command Prompt. When the Command Prompt is open, type Notepad and press Enter key to open the Notepad application. The Startup Repair log file is located at:

    Code:
    C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt
You will need to navigate to the drive on which you have Windows installed (usually the C: drive) to see the SrtTrail.txt log file.

The problem is that I already tried to get the Startup Repair/Advanced options menu to pop up, but it won't. It still just tries automatic repair and goes to a blackscreen. And because I can't even get to to truly boot, I can't use or get to the windows installation thing to manually bring up the menu

So if I use the link you posted, download Windows 10 on a flash drive on a housemates computer, and stick the drive with the ISO on it into my computer and try to boot it, will it detect the ISO on the flashdrive and let me do what ypu previously instructed me to do? I'm sorry, I'm an avid gamer who has experience in repairing hardware but software was always hard for me so I again apologize if I'm being dense

Windows 10 Media Creation Tool have option to create Windows 10 bootable USB flash drive.

You will have to change first boot order to USB flash drive within BIOS setup utility to boot your computer with flash drive.

Thank you so much! Once I have completed the instructions you've given me I'll reply on how it goes!

Alright, I installed the ISO on a drive and selected it as the boot priority in the BIOS, but while it no longer says "Preparing automatic repair", it still gives a black screen. And no startup repair menu pops up after repeated hard resets still

    Please perform the following steps:

    1) Find 3 flash drives that you can format (> or = 8 GB)

    2) Make tools (some or all may be used) that can be used to recover important files, test the drives, and troubleshoot

    3) On a working computer create:

    a) a new bootable windows 10 iso 1909:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

    b) bootable Ubuntu flash drive:

    c) Kyhi boot rescue flash drive:

    4) Report into the thread once you have made the tools
