Windows 10 Home automatic repair loop

Ok, thanks a lot in advance for spending time reading this.
Let's get straight to the point........one day I rebooted my windows 10 and bang! I got stuck in the automatic repair loop.
I tried everything I know and there is no way to have the machine booting to the desktop.
Now, this is a huge forum full of people who known much more than me so ask me anything you want to have a better idea of my problem and I'll be more than happy to get back to you.
For now I attach the SrtTrail.txt.

    Hope to hear from you.
    Ciao

Hi my Italian friend. You will need to give us a bit more information before we can help solve your problem. Was this Win10 a clean install using MS media Creator or by DVD or USB? It just maybe better to do a clean install and start all over as long as you have your data saved someplace.

Hi Pentothal. Welcome to the TenForums @Pentothal

First I would be protecting my data. Using this boot disk you can copy your data off to an external drive.

Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk

Then you want to get to the advance startup options. Not sure if you are getting access to these but if not start your PC. When you see the spinning dots power off by holding the power switch until it dies. Restart, see spinning dots, power off again.

Now power on device a third time. It should start the Advance Startup Options. Go trouble shoot, advance options, and uninstall updates.

If this is not successful I think at this point I would reset your PC.

Ideally you would be using a tool like Macrium Reflect to image your device. Then a simple restore would have you back and running again. The software is free, reliable and used by members. What ever tool you use please create and test their boot / rescue media.

Thanks winxp for your reply. I got this computer from a friend and I think I updated the os to windows 10 from 7.
I know I can re-install keeping my data but that is really my last option. The hd is fine but I have no clue what the problem is.
I get this error as well: 0xc0000001

    Any clue?
    Thanks again

Thanks Ken......I already tried to uninstall the updates but I got a message saying that the uninstallation was not possible.
Jus a question, if I image the disk wil I be able on the new installation to have my programs back and working?

    Thanks again

Not exactly sure how to answer question.

Normally I run a Macrium System image weekly. I back my data up on a different schedule. When I restore the system image my machine from a system point of view is exactly like the machine I imaged.

Windows, third party programs, apps, colours, position of icons, settings, etc. The image is a backup at a point in time.

Now in the free Macrium you can only backup partitions so if you have a data drive you can back it up as well on a different schedule. You don't need a schedule and you can start backups manually.

If your data is on c: it will be restored with your system to that point in time so some could be missing. This has to be considered and accounted for.

Macrium has an option to backup the partitions to start windows which makes it really easy.

I hear you on a reset. I just find it is the fastest way when I deal with this type of issue with my customers until we implement a backup routine.

Other members hopefully will have a solution to meet your needs.

As Caledon Ken commented the first step is to backup important files.

Once important files are protected you can troubleshoot or clean install.

To backup important files you can use Kyhi boot rescue or Ubuntu.

Thanks Ken for the precious information. I think I can image the disk from Medicat usb. If I don't find any solution to revive this installation I'll do that.

    Thanks again

Allright zbook, thanks to you as well for your contribution. I know the clean install is the fastest option but I would still like to try the recovery of the actual installation.

    Thanks again

    Please perform the following steps:

    1) Find 3 flash drives that you can format (> or = 8 GB)

    2) Make tools that can be used to recover important files, test the drives, and troubleshoot

    3) On a working computer:

    a) create a new bootable windows 10 iso:

Ok guys, I created a usb bootable media with the Win14393PESE_x64 ISO (Kyhi boot rescue) and I was checking the C drive for viruses with Malwarebytes......so far 3 major threats has been found maybe I get lucky........

    - - - Updated - - -

Ok, jus an update, viruses were found & removed but no boot whatsoever. I checked the disk with the mac utility Disk Utility and I got this report: "Problems were found with the partition map which might prevent booting".

    Any clues?
    Thanks in advance

Run Macrium Reflect from Kyhi's rescue ISO. Follow Macrium Reflect's Fix Windows Boot Problems directions to see if it will fix the Windows boot problem. Has done so for me on numerous Windows 10 systems.
