Black Screen with cursor after login

Good day, I really hope someone could guide me to a solution.

I have a fairly new Dell G5, with a SSD running the OS (Win 10 home), and important apps. Everytime I restart, or shut down or any form of normal boot up, the Notebook starts quickly, up to the login screen. After login, the screen is black, with a mouse cursor. It takes about 5 minutes from login, then suddenly the desktop is normal as if nothing happened.

Here is what I already tried:
1)Start in safe mode does not replicate the issue, it starts without issue in Safe Mode.
    2) I have turned off Fast Boot
    3) I have runned sfc /scannow without any issues
    4) When pressing Ctrl Alt Del, the Task manager does open, and Ive tried to run a new task explorer.exe as administrator, but no luck.

At the moment, it feels like the only option for me is a clean in 10 installation, although I REALLY dont want to do that. My Windows updates are on, and all is up to date.

    Any ideas perhaps?
    Thanks in advance

Hi, first steps: please try a clean boot (Google if unsure how or see tutorial here) and see if there's a difference.

How much free space do you have on C: ?

    Please run
    chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt and report the summary result.

    History:
    Has this just started happening?
Is there an event or change that might relate to this e.g. change to programs installed, or Windows update?

Plenty of results if you search e.g. for
    slow boot to desktop
    e.g.
FIX: Windows 10 desktop is slow to load
(Ignore the Driver update ad section)

Hi thanks for the quick response. I actually also tried a clean boot, I just forgot.(I have this issue for a while now, I was hoping it was a win update issue)

The SSD have 265 Gig free, and the 1TB HDD have 744Gig free.

Open the Command Prompt as a administrator and execute following commands:

    Code:
    Sfc /scannow

    REG ADD "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" /v Shell /t REG_SZ /d explorer.exe /f
If these commands wont work uninstall graphic card driver.

Thanks all for the feedback. SO far, no success at all, the issue still remain. I have tried the following:

History - It started about a month ago - allthough I do not restart oftern, I didnt notice when in actually started to happen
    2) I have done all of the below:
Boot in Safe Mode (Then it start 100%)
    Perform a Clean Boot
Update the Display driver (Actually uninstalled the display driver and restart)
Run Windows Update troubleshooter (Two Windows Update Databases was corrupt, fixed it but still no joy)
Run DISM tool (all 3 tests was clean)
Run a System File Checker scan
    Run disk clean up
    Run System Maintenance Troubleshooter

Nothing helped - It caused my Autodesk Revit not to start though - so did a system restore to get it working again.

Thanks for the help so far :)

Analyis is possible, but technical, using the Windows Performance toolkit.
This gives a detailed graphical representation of how time is used and by what.

    Example:
Windows Performance Analyzer vs Boot Phases (where is it?)

Download and Install Windows Performance Toolkit in Windows 10

This same black screen upon a cold boot just started with my system after I let Windows 10 do an upgrade last week. I just assume it's normal as my desktop always boots up fine and runs normally after the black screen. I just think it's something MS did to the latest update.
