    HP laptop stuck in Recovery Mode


    Hello I just turned on my laptop and now it's stuck in Recovery. I can't login. It gave me an error code 0x000000f. What should I do?

    Enter, F1 and F8 don't seem to work either.

    Is this the menu you are seeing on boot?

    Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10

    Some recovery options in these menu but .....


    First things first. I would create Kyhi's recovery disk and boot from it. This will give you a familiar environment to copy out your personal data.

    Assuming you are using 64 Bit this one

    Once data is safely copied out you can start Macrium from the disk and attempt to use their Boot repair. I assume you know whether you are booting MBR or UEFI
