    Safe mode, not working, help.


    I am using w10 x64 version 1803.I do not know why, but I find I can not access safe mode anymore, at "msconfig", the "Boot" options tab does not work, "Shift" during shutdown, there is no option to "safe mode".

    The code in cmd also does not work, it informs not find the reference file. Help Thanks !!!

    1) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

    System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums:
    System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums | Windows 10 Tutorials
    In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
    After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

    Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, port replicator, docking station, USB wireless network card, etc.)

    2) Backup all files to another drive to to the cloud
    3) Make a backup image using Macrium:
    Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free
    4) Place the backup image onto another drive or into the cloud
    5) Perform an in place upgrade repair:
    Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade | Windows 10 Tutorials
    Download Windows 10
    6) If you prefer instead to spend time troubleshooting that is another option

    same problem here, since that update at the end of April, everything


    that used to work fine, now doesn't, possibly due to the reset to default, Microsoft included, with update.

    I do not understand, what does it help? Anyway I will still update on demand.My hardware system is no problem, only windows software is problematic.

    Did you try Shift+Restart off the power icon (farthest R of 3 in lower R corner) on the login screen ? This will take you to Troubleshoot Options and you can continue to various Safe modes from that. Or, Option Two in this tute -

    Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10

    If not already done make a backup image and save the image to another drive or to the cloud:
