Driver For Dell SK-6000 Comfort Keyboard

    I am running H22H2 (OS Build 19045.3448)

I have tried several 'comfort keyboards' and my fingers keep getting lost.

I have a 'vintage' Dell SK-6000 Comfort keyboard that still works. The keys are all in the places where my 'vintage' fingers expect to find them.

I have the keyboard cable plugged into the PS-2 keyboard/mouse socket on the back of my desktop tower, a Fractal Design Define R5 Black, home to my ASRock Taichi Ultimate motherboard.

Is there a difference between a PS-2 socket marked keyboard/mouse and one intended only for a keyboard?

How do I get Windows 10 to connect this keyboard with my desktop so that it will work?

    thanks

I also have and use a 25 years old mechanical keyboard.
The PS2 slot is to be used by a Keyboard or a mouse.

Just insert the keyboard PS2 terminal on the slot and it should work. Attention: The PS2 isn't hot plug able. Shutdown the computer and remove the power cord from the wall outlet.

    Thank You, Megahertz

    Thank you, Megahertz.
I had so many tasks underway yesterday that it was past bedtime by the time I could finish or document everything. I never had time to reboot.
For the record, when I restarted my machine this morning the keyboard was recognized and working. It did not require unplugging in this instance.

    One more question.
My aging brain has forgotten how to 'give a rep' to you.
I searched everywhere on the thread and I still don't find it.
I see that your rep level is gold. Perhaps you will say that thanks is enough.
I'd still like have the 'rep button' pointed out.

The REP button is disguised as the "Thank" button... lower left.
When you "Thank" someone... it increases their Reputation.
