How to make Simple volume to Primary

Hello i had a problem recently i was trying to reformat my hard drive which for some reason lost 100gb and by doing that I accidently set it to simple. The hard drive is around 1tb big and half of it is filled and I can't delete it either. I tried many apps to restore but they wont help since you have to pay and I cant afford it nothing explains how to make it to primary. In short I need my 100gb unallocated back to it and I want my hard drive d to be back to primary.
Please help I'm really nervous about it.

We need more information as it is NOT clear what steps you took. The more information you give us, the better that we can try and help you.

    > Are you talking about formatting the OS drive ?
    > Can you Boot into Windows ?

    If you are able to:

     Disk Management - Partitions Screenshot

Make sure that ALL the text in ALL the columns are visible and showing the whole window. Now UPLOAD a screenshot of your partitions using one of the following methods . . .

    > How to Upload and Post Screenshots and Files at Ten Forums

    I hope this helps.

Please post a whole window Disk Manager image of ALL your drives. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them. How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management
If you have a MiniTool or AOMEI Partition use it instead or Windows disk manager.

It isn't clear if you can re format the drive or is there data that you can't loose?
Is the drive internal or external? Was it initiated as MBR or GPT?
Is the drive healthy? You can see the status with crystaldiskinfo It's a portable. Don't need to install. Extract and run.

Hello @RinXVII and welcome to TenForums.

In Windows 10 and Windows 11, a "simple volume" is a primary volume.
Microsoft just decided that the terms they've been using for 30 years weren't good enough anymore. :/

Hello soo the full story is:
I tried to fix my drive by putting the lost 100gb from the drive back and I accidently made it a simple volume instead of a primary.
Then I followed some tutorials which didnt help at all soo i figured i would write here. The drive is marked as healthy and a simple volume and the 100gb unallocated are not able to be formated into a new drive because it says it doesn't have enough space. There drive is internal plugged inside my pc.

Wait soo why is my volume now yellowish instead of dark blue

These are the default partitions you'll see on the Windows drive... the ones in RED boxes are the absolute minimum you need to boot Windows.

We need to see a screenshot of ALL of Disk Management to answer your questions...

How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management

It would also help to open a Command prompt as Admin and type: Diskpart
And, at the Diskpart prompt, type: List disk

Then post a screenshot of that too.

I need to see it without all the RED scribbles. I don't want to say... do this, or do that, and have you wipe out Windows.

    This is mine, for example...
