Black screen no bios splash screen

I recently had to perform a force shut down because windows froze for over a minute, even my rgb on my keyboard and mouse froze. After the shutdown I am not able to boot back into windows, I get a black screen with no bios splash screen, the keyboard and mouse do not get initialised either. I have tried to plug them into different ports but to no avail, I reset the cmos and reinstalled the cmos battery, I have checked each ram module and I have took out the gpu as well running on integrated graphics instead. The fans spin up fine and the motherboard does not report any error codes, the rgb for the fan and mobo work fine as well. The system seems to stay up and running after powering on but the only way to power it off is to do a force shutdown.

This is a newly upgraded build less than a month old, the cpu, mobo and ram have been upgraded everything else stayed the same. I suspect it could be a psu fault as a best case scenario, worst case would be either cpu or mobo failure. Would anyone be able to help me analyse the situation and come to a definite conclusion?

Welcome to the forum. A forced power off will corrupt the disk as data wont be flushed from ram. Your next move is to a get a bootable linux or win10 install usb or dvd and try booting from that if it boots it proves cpu etc is ok. With win10 dvd try a repair.

Did you set the bios correct if you havent that will stop it booting if you set disk boot options wrong, does the disk show in the bios?

Has it ever booted ok from new cpu etc?

The system used to boot fine from the day I upgraded it, this is the first issue encountered with the new upgrade. I cannot access the bios since my keyboard does not get initialised and there is no bios splash screen. All I see is just a black screen, no mouse, no text, there is nothing showing.

I have tried to run it off a windows 10 usb but it can’t boot from usb since I have not enabled it in the bios before and I can’t do it now.

Most computers also define an additional key you can press during bootup to call up a 'one-time' menu to change the boot sequence to what you need.

This does assume that you have a keyboard available at that stage and only a wired one would be.
- I keep a wired mouse & a wired keyboard under my desk just for these occasions.
- These items might also need to be used for you to be able to turn off Secure boot so that your computer does not regard the USB as an attack.

As I have mentioned previously I have a black screen, I cannot see or access anything, I have both a wired keyboard and mouse but they do not work when I try to start up my computer thus not being able to access the bios even with a black screen.

Aka... with the computer OFF, just remove the RAM sticks and put them right back where they were.

IF this doesn't fix the problem, these guys can help in other ways.

I have reseated both the ram sticks, I even tried to use the secondary slots for them but it did not work, my motherboard would throw an error code via led light if there was a ram issue but I do not get any errors from my mobo.

I should add that I have an i5 11600k, Asus tuf gaming z590 plus wifi and pny xlbr 3200 16gb x2 ram sticks
