The HD can be connected by a hard drive enclosure.

The Sea Tools long generic can be ran overnight.

Please run HD Tune full error scan.
If there are any problems running the test then use:
Download Macrorit Disk Scanner Portable 4.3.5

When available please update the specs in the "My Computer" section.

Open the HP website > support > enter the computer's product or serial number > select the operating system > view drivers > post a URL or hyperlink into the thread

    about temperature and errors,
The overview screenshot says: "There are 2 weak sectors found on the disk surface. They may be remapped at any time in the later use of the disk." These should be listed by HD Tune under 'Health' as '(C5) Current Pending Sector'. A pending sector is one that may potentially be damaged, but this may have been a 'false positive'. It won't be remapped until it has been tested and either remapped, or passed as not being faulty after all (and removed from the pending sector count). It won't be remapped while it is in use (or if it has been marked by Chkdsk as a bad block).

To force the drive to test each sector you can perform a Full (not a Quick) format. As there will be no indication of where the potentially bad sectors are it would be best to remove all existing partitions, create one new partition using the whole drive, then run a full format on that. This could take quite some time.

After a full format, sectors that have been remapped will now show as '(05) Reallocated Sectors'. If the 2 pending sectors are confirmed as faulty, the reallocated count will go up by 2 and the pending count reset to 0. If they both passed the test, just the pending count will change.
