Seems the Update 1809 messed up my keyboard

Hi All, I'm running Win 10 on an HP Pavilion. It seems Update 1809 has messed up my keyboard. Some keys are now not working. What is the best way to fix this? Try to update the keyboard driver? Some other solution?

Keyboard hardware problems can occur any time.
Alternatively the problem could be upgrade related.

Perform the following steps to rule in or rule out hardware problems:

1) Download and install HP diagnostics Windows (located in the right upper corner of this link)
(Do not download and install HP diagnostics UEFI)

2) Open the HP Hardware Diagnostics Windows > Input devices > Keyboard test > report the results into the thread

3) There are ten days to roll back Windows 1809 to the prior version: (roll back as necessary)

May I know which keeps are not working ? and what exactly happens when you type on your Laptop keyboard ?

Sure. I have a standard USA keyboard.

The left shift key is not working on keys m to /

Also the left and right shift key is not working on keys g and h

I have to use the caps lock key to get a capital G and H

Right shift key does not work on keys q to ] (except for t and y)

My double quote key is not working at all including with all shift keys.

This give you some clues?

Just to confirm, are you using the built in keyboard on your Laptop or else a Wired one ?

If it is wired one then please check whether the keyboard is working on other devices ?

We just need to make sure whether the issue is with the Hardware / Software

Have you tried to roll back or uninstall the keyboard Driver from the device manager ?

If I uninstall the kybrd driver, will that make it impossible for me to enter in my Windows password after I reboot?
