it will be reinstalled again automatically , if in case it doesn't work then you can try the On-screen keyboard from the lock screen window ( Ease of access -> Onscreen keyboard )
Good news! My keyboard is now working again! I have no idea why. Maybe Windows did a silent update in the background. In any case, problem solved. Thanks for all your replies. Cheers,
Just checked windows updates (10/9/2018) and there was an HP Keyboard update: 11.0.3.1
The Windows 1809 was installed in October 2018.
Windows updates were performed after the upgrade.
This HP update was dated 7/11/2018 and came with today's manual update.
It requires a restart.
