I am getting a "Low Disk Space" message every few minutes for a "J" Drive. I have disconnected all my external drives and still getting the message so the "J" drive must be within my computer. When checking the "J" drive using File Explorer, it indicates it has a capacity of 449 mb. How can I get rid of this problem?
Please post a screenshot of your partitions using Minitool Partition Wizard (free), using the Insert Image icon above your post, making sure text in all columns is visible.
I'm going to hazard a guess that this might be a Windows Recovery partition which should NOT have a drive letter.
Open a Command Prompt or PowerShell and run:
diskpart (accept the administrator warning that pops up)
select volume J
remove letter=J
exit
exit
I think it will prove to be the OEM recovery drive syndrome - plenty of threads on that like
