Windows 10: Extra drive (partition) after update 1803 Solved

Extra drive (partition) after update 1803

So I updated to 1803 today, and afterwards I suddenly have an extra 'Local Disk D:'. When I click on it, there is nothing in there, but Windows keeps nagging me it is full and I need to clean it. But the cleaning app does not find anything either on the drive.
    I restarted multiple times.
It seems to be an extra partition on my disk, I made a screenshot:

How do I get rid of this, the notifications about a full disk are cumbersome to say the least.

This happens to some PCs after updating to 1803. The trick is to remove the drive letter and make sure that the recovery partition (usually what is affected) has the proper disk characteristics. @Bree has already posted instructions on how to do this with diskpart in another thread, but I can't find that. Those details also appear in this old thread, which remains correct: Can Partition Type be changed Solved - Page 3 - Windows 10 Forums.

PS: I *DID* find it finally, and see that it was @topgundcp who came to the rescue in post #33 here: New 1803 version created a new disk partition - Can I reclaim it? - Page 4 - Windows 10 Forums (page 4, about halfway down). It has all the details you need to fix this issue correctly and safely.

I don't remember which thread that was on either :)
...but the Diskpart method is Option Two in this TenForums tutorial.
