..... i hate.. i really hate when it goes above freezing and the snow start melting and then if freezes and everything becomes slippery ice everywhere......

That describes a fairly typical British Winter, except there's little if any snow, it's the rain that freezes overnight

It is a bit colder then usual here too.. it is rare to get so much below freezing in November as it is now.. it has happen a few times before, but its rare.. that is often start of December.. But everything has been at least 2weeks early this year...

Yeah we have had a bit of "British winter" the last 8 almost 10 years.. I have not used studded winter tires for the last 4years thanks to the mild winters.. But if it becomes a real winter again, then i will use them, as i have saved them, just in case we get normal winters again. *lol*

Good morning Mike. It was a little warmer than you overnight, but will be a little colder than you this afternoon.
This evening brings showers and temps warming to 8°C/46°F overnight.
