Been at this for hours. I thought it would be an easy port of existing code for the smaller OLED I originally had been using. It was a non Pimoroni OLED and the library commands were all different. I had to edit it all over to use Pimoroni Pico Graphics. I made good progress though. It's now displaying the Encoder Knob Position. Next step will be to connect a servo and have it move when the Encoder knob is turned. Something like that. I likely won't do that until tomorrow some time. I'll take a pic then, and post it here.
good job, I just finished mine ,i moved everything to the other side of the desk, lol ... Dementia sucks ,I dont want to do anything ,I dont even want to travel to Danielles in Halifax for Christmas

I've been bacheloring it for a month or so now. It's only a short drive for me to go see my better half though. I'm really hoping she gets home for Christmas. She had an Xray of the break in her leg today. Hopfully she is weight baring on that leg now and can start trying to walk on it? Fingers crossed.
Good and bad sides of being by myself.

Plugged a Servo in and ran a test file. Need to redo what I had last done using the other smaller OLED. Not quit in the mood to get at it though. Haven't touched the mini tree LED lights either. Lost my round 2it.

The Pi 5 has PCIe, which can be used for an SSD. No having to boot to the SD card.

My Pi 5 order hasn't been Picked for delivery yet so no way I'll see that until after Christmas. Same deal for my NVMe Base order. If I'm honest I'm not all that upset about it. Would have been nice, but it's not the end of the world.
I have that RGB Encoder Wheel breakout to play with. I deliberately put that aside so I'd have something to tinker with Christmas day. And a few other bits & bytes to play with.
