BSOD Memory management ?
Been getting this weird bluescreen just in the last few days, I don't think it's ram because I've ran memtest and 0 errors
Been getting this weird bluescreen just in the last few days, I don't think it's ram because I've ran memtest and 0 errors
It may be either a failing RAM or a driver (I suspect Intel RST driver) passing bad information to the memory.Code:*** Memory manager detected 13 instance(s) of page corruption, target is likely to have memory corruption.
Let us be confirmed about the RAM at first.
Test your RAM modules for possible errors. Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.
Take a camera snap of the memtest86+ window before closing the program. Let us see it.

If it does not show any error there, we will take our next step.
I've ran memtest with 12 passes and it looks like I have 0 errors

What should be the next step in finding my problem ? thank you
Next, let us enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
InformationWhy Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.
How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.
WarningBefore enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.
If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.
Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.Tip
- If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
- If you cannot boot in Safe mode too, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.
It looks like I crashed immediately
please find attached my crash dump
The dumpfile blames

It looks like the above program is the culprit.
Update it to the latest version and/or remove it to see if this stops the BSOD.
Thank you so much, what's the best way to remove ? I just ran the uninstaller
First of all, disable Unified Remote 3 in startup. Dont let it run alongwith windows in the background.
Continue with Verifier after doing it. If still the uvhid.sys comes with the BSOD, uninstall Unified Remote 3.Code:Unified Remote V3 "c:\program files (x86)\unified remote 3\remoteserverwin.exe" DESKTOP-DSJ0U6D\Sboh-Desktop HKU\S-1-5-21-2368531627-3883434602-1605957839-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Let us know the situation upto this point.Arc said:
