Hardware Live Kernel event causing windows 10 version 1909 to crash

Hi,

My PC crashes with one screen going black and the second one freezing with whatever I have open at the time, nothing can be done but everything seems normal once turned on and off by long pressing power button. PC boots in safe mode and brings my to bios. This has happened multiple times before and seemingly for no reason.

Hi both, thanks you your responses sorry it took so long to get back to you.

I checked the disk and no issues were reported.

I got the following from Crystal Disk Info, honestly I'm not sure if it shows an issue or not, I will attach the image. But in general It's not showing any warning or errors as far as I can tell.

To answer your other questions:

I am not overclocking
I used Memtest and got no errors after 8 passes.
As far as my electricity i'm not sure but it dose not share the outlet with anything else.
My gpu drivers are up to date, there doesn't seem to be any pattern or reason to when it happens I can be in the middle of a game or just browsing the internet though the one thing may be that it happens if I haven't turned my pc off in some time - as in I put it in sleep mode rather than turning it off for a week - but that isn't definite just something i noticed.
With the BIOS, I don't have to do anything it says press F2 to boot to bios after crash then I can just exit to restart and continue as normal - no idea why it does this.
Finally, I have not made any hardware changes since I built the pc and cannot think of any other obvious changes that resulted in this happening, sorry to not be much help in this.

I have not yet tried removing and installing all components yet, would you suggests this as my next move? Also I will attach the zip file of the logs from the V2 log collector.

It can be easy to miss BSOD using the Windows default settings.
The computer has been having BSOD.

The BIOS is out of date (approximately 20 missed upgrades).

All of the dump files were corrupt.

Msinfo32 was missing in the V2 log collector.

Please perform the following steps:


1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
5) sfc /scannow
6) chkdsk /scan
7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
9) wmic recoveros get autoreboot
10) wmic recoveros get DebugInfoType
11) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

12) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

13) Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting

14) Sometimes there are problems in the bios that produce BSOD

The BIOS: 0420

15) Backup the computer files to another drive or to the cloud

16) Make a backup image using Macrium:

17) Create a brand new restore point.

19) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings

a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery window into the thread

20) If the computer has Ccleaner (do not install the software if it is not already installed) > click windows tab or custom clean > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

21) For any BSOD:

a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
> if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

2) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer. Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:

3) For larger size drives the chkdsk switches can take substantial time.
Plan to run a substantial portion overnight for each drive.
