Random pc freeze in main menu of a game.Had to force restart

I have the non wifi version of the motherboard.

You think its related to my "wifi"/lan driver or just eliminating possible culprits?

There is no difference in the BIOS between the non-Wi-Fi version and the Wi-Fi version so BIOS 1401 also fits your board. BIOS update is generally recommended, and in your case, according to the crash dump, there was some TLB error in the processor, so it can help. If it doesn't help, we'll keep trying

oh so you want me to update my bios?I tought for a second you wanted me to download the wifi driver because of the link name.I'm actually on bios version 1005

Latest bios actually seems unstable from the multiple reports im seeing.Il see if updating to 1909 helps first.

Nope.So far in like 30+ hours of active playing it hasnt happened.Wierdly enough it only happened in the main menu of the game while I was afk which is probably the less intensive part of the game by far Yet 0 issues when Im actively playing.Makes no sense.

The logs displayed overclocking.

The i9-9900K Processor is designed to work with RAM up to 2666.
The RAM Speed : 3200
Please modify the computer so that there is no overclocking during the troubleshooting.

The bugcheck was WHEA 0x124.
This is typically malfunctioning hardware when there is no overclocking.




1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
5) sfc /scannow
6) chkdsk /scan
7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
9) wmic recoveros get autoreboot
10) wmic recoveros get DebugInfoType
11) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

12) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

13) Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting.



14) Identify the Steam software: kenshi_x64.exe
Uninstall and reinstall this software
