    I need to recovery this closed browser window

    I have an issue, I accidently closed a Edge Canary Browser Window. I need to recovery this closed browser window. I read that one must go into;
    C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Recovery \Active

    as to recovery a browser session (dat) file. Unfortunately due to hard drive space which I have to resolve very soon my browser session extension did not save the session. Therefore how can I recovery this browser window as there are tabs in this browser window to which I need access ?

    Hello mate,

    Are the pages (tabs) listed in your browsing history to reopen from like below?

    I use NirSoft BrowsingHistoryView to see where I had been if I close a browser without noting something.
    It works in both the browsers I use - Firefox, Edge.

    I imagine it refers to the same data source as Windows so might also get wiped by whatever caused your current browser history to get wiped.
    If the NirSoft tool shows your browsing history but Windows does not then I think you have a Windows fault. Perhaps there is a problem with the Canary you are on.
    If neither shows your browsing history then, again, I suspect a Canary problem or, as you suggest, a symptom of insufficient disk space.
    You might try SFC to fix the problem.
