Window Outline Remains Even Though Window Is Closed

Last, previously closed window outline remains displayed. Sometimes can 'force' it to go away by left clicking on an unused portion of desktop but not always.

Just got laptop for Christmas and has always had this problem so might be a setting.

Have looked at Advanced -> Visual Settings but didn't see any that looked like would fix (tried setting Best Performance - which turned everything off but didn't fix)

If you right click and hit refresh , does it vanish also?

Thanks Wullail, sorry didn't respond last night - missed your update.

Yes and no .... actually when right click it vanishes ... but hitting refresh results in desktop refreshing then outline of 'refresh' box displays (can't get screenshot with snipping tool because outline goes away as soon as hit enter).

Have tried diff settings - nothing helps ... still have 'box outlines' - very frustrating.

    Has anyone seen this ????

Since 10122 I've noticed that they changed the window frames from using accent colours to just using white all the time. Personally I don't like this and I am wondering if there is a way to bring accent colouring back.
