How to select "several" Favorite's folders/ files for Right click/dele

I have Hundreds of old Favorites that I've been Importing from IE, since the old XP days.
I would like to select several... at a time, then Right click/delete.... (I did this with my old desktop folders).

How do I select more than one (would take forever!), without opening them?

I don't use Chrome, but there's always a way to export your whole list of bookmarks or favorites, etc.
For example, in Firefox I can export my bookmarks to an .html file

Then, I can open that file and deal with them as if they were in a text file, so to speak.

Select them by left-click dragging the mouse over the right area, then rt-click-del (or hit the del key).

You can use the keyboard. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click on all the other files you wish to select one by one.

You don't say which browser you are talking about.

    You can press
    Ctrl-Shift-o
to get a view of your Favourites/Bookmarks and, for Edge,

    then
    Open Favourites page

You can do different bits of tidying up in the two views and can experiment with using ctrl to select individual entries for deletion.

    Best of luck,

Google Chrome is the only browser I use, But IE Favorites were also Imported to Edge from Chrome (I also share) .

After I clean up Chrome- Can I delete Imported... on Edge/close/open twice, then re-import the cleaned up Favorites from Chrome?
    How do I do this?
