In general I don't like the themes from the Chrome web store, but for those who like them, it seems that it will soon be possible to install those themes (easily) in the new Edge:

Maybe the option will be hidden behind a flag in the Canary version soon.

There was already another method to install these themes (a bit complicated IMO), but now it can be done using the shortcut properties, yo have to add after msedge.exe":

    Awesome news.

Giving the new browser a try I must say I'm not impressed with the color management. Colors look somewhat muted and washed out on my calibrated monitor as compared to the old Edge and even Internet Explorer.

Is there a setting here I missed to check color settings?

So I changed forced color profile to sRGB, but not sure what to do with forced colors as the options are Default, Enabled, Disabled. I choose Enabled. Anyway this look a lot better and "smoother" now.

    Thanks.

Edit: These work best (for me)...

    force-color-profile = sRGB
    forced-colors = Default

    You're welcome.
I haven't tried the settings yet, because I control my color(partially anyhow) through Nvidia control panel by adding Edge to the Manage 3D settings\Program settings , and get good results.

I found these settings help alot:

I don't use my GPU to control colors. And would never advise it. I just leave the GPU settings as is and calibrate my monitor using a monitor calibrating software which in turn creates a color profile that's either used by the GPU or monitor (if it has a built in LUT table as my NEC monitor does).

Anyway since most browsers default to the sRGB color space, and most images posted online (mine too) use the sRGB color space, that's the profile I prefer to have this version of Edge set to.

Again, thanks for that solution. I'm good now

Is there any release notes site/blog for the new Microsoft Edge? What changed with this update?
