I`ve already tried everything you can think of.

If I fried the 7900X, you get nothing on the screen, no Bios, nothing.

There`s really nothing I can do when I get "DisplayPort NO SIGNAL" or "HDMI Port NO SIGNAL" on the screen. The Asus monitor works perfectly fine, so that was a big relief I`m sure the Zotac works fine, because I put a 980 Ti in there and I got the same message.
Although I don`t want to, I will test the Zotac on the Z170, but dam it I just cleaned that rig
Then the last step will be to swap some memory sticks, I have the same exact Corsair kits in both PC`s
If none of that works, well than I`ll have a $1500 surprise
I could just buy a new Asus TUF X299 Mark 1 and a 9900X from Newegg and just swap the parts.
But I don`t really don`t see a good reason to pursue that when you guys are hitting 5 GHz with mainstream boards and cpu`s out of the box.
    Hi,
Well the 9900x sounds better for you seeing you never delidded the 7900x and is pretty much a waste without delid.
9900x would still score better on most benchmarks than a 9900k even though at 4.8 verses 5.0

Try the AOC monitor if you haven't already.

Mike, there is no signal coming out of the X299.

Trying another monitor will do nothing.

    Hi,
For the record heaven doesn't really even push the cpu so 90c on cinebench R20 isn't going to do the same on heaven besides tj max is 110c not 90c so 20c under it is fine been doing it every since I got x299 platform

This is pretty close to be a gpu test
CPU counts but not as much as say any of the 3dmark test do with cpu and temps would not be higher

Super position is a pure gpu test it really doesn't care much at all about cpu clocks.

Yeah correction no display out the 2080ti or 980ti
But using the same borked driver on the same borked os install isn't helping the deal or the same monitor.... got to mix it up more.

GPU dies maybe you get space invaders like all the other RTX dying fields might also just freaking die with no display message.
    5 year mother board warranty
    3 year intel warranty
    3 year 2080ti warranty.

    I fixed it.

I had to short out what is called a RTC RAM jumper pin. I had to kill the power, pull the plug, then drain the power.

Then I held a small screwdriver across the 2 pins for about 10 seconds.

I just kept looking at my POST led lights and the Dram led was not acting normal, so to the manual I went.

I still think I wanna buy a new system

Great news Brian, what a relief. That basically clears the CMOS I think...
