Hi, I have this PC on my office running Windows 10 20H2 that has some expensive software and I would like to upgrade my 128 GB SSD to a raid 1 with two 1 TB SSD's for additional capacity and safety.
How should I proceed to copy my current disk directly to the raid array?

Hi, to consider: with a 2-disk configuration, will you actually gain - or lose resilience?
What are the advantages of RAID?
E.g. compare Raid 0 and Raid 1

1. Install Macrium Reflect Free.
2. Create a Macrium Reflect rescue USB flash drive and make sure the computer will boot from it.
3. Create a partition on the raid array to hold a backup image of the SSD. 128GB would be plenty for 1 image.
4. Use Macrium Reflect Free to create an image of the SSD, save it to the partition created on the raid array.
5. Remove the SSD, boot the computer from the Macrium Reflect rescue flash drive.
6. Restore the image of the SSD to the unallocated space on the raid array.
7. Run the utility to fix Windows boot problems from the restore menu of Macrium Reflect.
8. Boot the computer from the raid array.
A tip about booting a RAID system, removing one drive can make the system unbootable. Had that happen once when the Windows install picked up the AHCI/RAID setting in the BIOS and the system had two drives in it and I later removed the supposedly data/storage drive, caused reinstalling of Windows.
