The problem with MB3 and Image programs that use VSS (Macrium) is it leaves large temp files in the System Volume Information directory on the main system. A quick recap and workaround.
1) It does not affect the Macrium image file so the image is safe to use.
2) It just leaves the extra files in the SVI directory on the PC if Macrium is run with Anti-Ransomware activated.
3) If Macrium is run with Anti-Ransomware deactivated it will clean out all those leftover files even those from previous runs of Macrium.
Malwarebytes is testing a fix to Anti-Ransomware and will release it when finished.

I still have valid licences for version two or three but with them threatening to drop support of two within months, I have to plan for life after malwarebytes unless they get things sorted very shortly. I cannot take the chance in my situation :)
I only tried it on my Laptop as it is only used when I travel. I will be doing some travel this Month and went back to MB2.
It looks like a lot of the problems occur on boot up and I suspect the Anti-Ransomware may be the problem.
The other 3 protections have been around for a while but Anti-Ransomware has had lots of problems.
I will probably give MB3 another go next Month as I will not need the Laptop. Hopefully they will have an update by then.
If I do see any problems I will turn off Anti-Ransomware and play with that scenario.

This post is just to make users aware there are some problems with MBAM3. I am uninstalling MBAM3, and reinstalling MBAM 2.2.1.1043 along with HitmanPro Alert - until a fix is found for ALL the current issues. Although I presently only have only one issue with web protection, it makes me nervous knowing whether or not it is working all the time. I have 3 lifetime licenses so I will pobably reinstall Version3 in the future if they can get all the "bugs" fixed.

The only issues I experienced with V3.0 of MBAM was the Web Protection would be set to off. I would have to enable it manually. This has since been fixed. Also, I had to completely uninstall, including using the MBAM removal tool, and re-install to re-activate my lifetime license. Once I had done this I have been problem free. Maybe I've been lucky. I've chatted with a few others who have had so many issue they have given up completely. One of those folks has a lifetime license.
Overall, I think they released the new version a bit to soon. But, I think they will get all issues sorted at some point. Have faith!
Not my issue merkxr - mine is If I visit Malwarebytes | Malwarebytes Privacy Policy using either Chrome or Vivaldi I get a DNS error. Visiting http://52.21.84.70 via Chrome or Vivaldi, I see "Malwarebytes has blocked a potentially malicious website." For both URLs using Opera, I see "If you are able to reach this page it means that IP protection is disabled on your machine." An issue which makes me unsure whether web protection is working even tho MBAM indicates it's turned on on.
I ran those links through FF, Palemoon, Opera, Qupzilla, Vivaldi, Chrome (as much as I despise it), and Edge and got the "blocked" message which indicates web protection is working as it should. Have you tried doing a complete uninstall and re-install of MBAM? If so, have you posted in their forums to see if other are having this issue?
