    the windows build look degraded from build OS 19041.508 to 19041.264 why is that?
    That's what an in-place upgrade repair install does.

    a. You download an iso of a particular build (typically older than what you have, but same major build)
    b. You run the procedure.
    c. Your system files become those of the iso build. I.e older if the iso is older.

    I have no idea why windows update isn't working after that. Sorry.

    is it advisable to run this setup diag file now?
    Not relevant- that's about reporting on upgrade failure.

    I have run this setup diagnostic file the log file created shows successful update.
    I can send you copy of this log file, not sure how to attach with the reply though.
    ((SetupDiag reports successful upgrade found.This appears to be a successful update as the last operation was: OOBEBoot and the result was: success))
