Windows 10 Updates Will Not Install (Error 0x80070002)

    Hi Experts,

I got the error above (no updates installed), followed the advice here:
SFC Corrupt Files Solved - Windows 10 Forums

And also tried in-place upgrade (both refresh and reset) by following the steps here:
Refresh Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials

and both failed. I have no idea what else to do.
Can anyone peek at the attached DISM.log and shed a light?

    dism.zip

    many thanks in advance

Please post the Panther logs (by default they may be hidden)
Download and install everything to make search efficient: voidtools

    1) Look for any of these log files and post into the thread:

    C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther
    C:\Windows\Panther
    setuperr.log
    setupact.log
    Setupmem.dmp ...................[$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupmem.dmp]
    setupapi.dev.log ...................[$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log]
    BlueBox.log
    $Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback*.evtx

    C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback

    BlueBox.log
    $Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupmem.dmp
    $Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback*.evtx
    $Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log

    Setupmem.dmp
    setupapi.dev.log
    Event logs (*.evtx)

    2) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    3) sfc /scannow
    4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    5) chkdsk /scan
    6) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
