Activation troubleshooting
In order to best provide assistance, we request users to run either of the below to try and identify the issue you may be having.
A. Activation Diagnostic Tool (Checks MS Office activation with basic Windows activation data only)
B. LicensingDiag.ps1 (No MS Office data but extended Windows activation data collection (i.e Digital Licencing)
C. Get-SlmgrError.ps1 (Check error codes for their description - not all error codes are covered.)
********************************************************************************************
A. Choose windows validation from the menu bar and it will run the diagnostics test. You can then save a report as a text file containing information relating to current licensing.
Note: If an error is detected, you can see the description by clicking/tapping on the error link.
Remember the following:
1. Specify from whom the Windows 10 media and what type of key was purchased.
2. Has any piracy software been installed and removed – including Watermark removers?
3. Do NOT post the full Product Key.
4. Please provide a short description of how and when the issue you are experiencing evolved.
5. Sometimes the report can be very long, if there are lots of eventlog errors - so please post between tags (# in the toolbar) or attach the report instead.
NOTE: The data collected with this tool does NOT contain any information that can personally identify you and can be fully reviewed, by you, before being posted, but be aware that it reports the full OEM key - thus take precaution to mask that before posting the report.

B. Extended script: (Masks keys and HardwareID in standard execution - see below about unmasking those)
1. Save the .ps1 file to any folder - right-click and select "Run with Powershell"
2. To display keys and decoded bios and HardwareID use the -Show parameter...
...hold Shift and right-click in the empty space of the folder in which downloaded and select "Open Powershell window here" you can then type in the command as below.
Example:
Code:C:\Users\Craig\Desktop> .\LicensingDiag.ps1 -Show
****************************************************************************************
C. To check activation errors use this script to see the description
1. Save the .ps1 file to any folder - right-click and select "Run with Powershell" - enter the error code on screen.
2. CLI Usage: .\Get-SlmgrError.ps1 -ErrorCode <code>
Example:
Useful links:Code:PS H:\Documents\Scripts> .\Get-SlmgrError.ps1 -ErrorCode 0x80070057 Error code 80070057 description: "The parameter is incorrect"
Error code 5 "Access Denied" I Got Windows 10 For Free When You Could, Now it's Deactivated Itself
