Windows Update 2023-06 Failed several times!!

2023-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22h2 for x64 based systems (KB5027215) has failed several times.... Error 0x80071160. Got to 20% a couple of times, then 45% but would never finish. Last message was that updates paused until 7/24/2023 so I can use the computer again and hope to find a fix before that date.

I tried cleaning everything, Disc Cleanup, CCleaner, ran virus scans and spyware scans, ran SFC and whatever else I could think of... plus the Windows Update troubleshooter... nothing worked. Drivers are up to date and bios too. Running out of ideas.

Wondering if I have to turn off the anti-virus program to run it... never had to do that before for Windows Updates. Also I noticed a program called Tweaking.comm for repairing Windows. Should I try it?

Would appreciate any tips or ideas... I'm going crazy!! Thanks.

Error 0x80071160 is corruption of the Windows Overlay Filter driver (WOF).

The corruption may not be able to be fixed without a Windows reset, custom or clean install.

Some of the steps reported in the opening post may be repeated.
