But you have not presented him with any facts. You have only presented allegations.

VBScript (.vbs files) are well-known launchers of malware.

In order to run .vbs files, Windows Scripting Host needs to be enabled on a user system.

WSH doesn't have execution policies, so any .vbs file can do whatever it wants.

By using VBScript, and by default, requiring WSH to be enabled to run it, creates a security risk for end-users.

    Well-documented facts.

Has Microsoft officially confirmed the well-documented facts?
Has Microsoft officially announced that VBScript is a security risk and thus should not be used?

The fact that you had to ask that question shows you are not well informed about the tools you are using.

    Do your research.

I've raised the issue with Brink...it's his call what gets posted.

However, as I said, I will point out the risks to users, whenever I see a script that uses VBScript being recommended.

    We're done here.

The fact that you refused to answer the questions shows you have no sufficient evidence.
If you have sufficient evidence, show it to the administrators and ask them to ban VBScript from TenForums.
Pointing out the risks without evidence will get you nowhere.
