There is no evidence that the VBScript and CMD/batch scripts created by me have ever been infected with malware.

There is plenty of well-documented evidence that VBScript, which your script uses, has been frequently used as a malware launcher.
So in order to use your script, VBScript has to be active on the user's system, which puts users at risk.
Spend less time trying to defend it, and use a more secure development platform for your scripts.
That's what I would expect a so-called "guru" to do.
I would expect VBScript to have been banned here if it were so risky.
VBScript is used by Brink on SevenForums. The same VBScript is used by members on TenForums.
Feel free to report it to the administrators if you are against VBScript.
LOL.
Just because "it's used by members on TenForums" doesn't change anything.
A lot of VBScript was used in the past...and a lot of people stopped using it and moved on to more secure development platforms for scripting.
You (and the "members on TenForums") who still use it would be wise to do the same.
A lot of people use it whether they are wise or not and whether you like it or not.
I guess that depends on how much you care about your users' security.
Appears the answer is "not much".
It appears you like to give an answer on behalf of others.
The BSOD team use VBScript in the batch files whether you like it or not. Feel free to point out the risks to them.
