win10 dead end, on latest update ?

Hi All.

Trying to install the latest update.
Ok going through the pages, I get the following..

Select or connect an external storage drive with at least 10 Gb free:

Next page says ..

External storage device ( D : ) 26.2 Gb Free...
Also, at the bottom of the same page it says...
Next we will help you free up 3.26 GB on the C Drive..

So I hit next and the next page has 3 folders to click on....

Recycle bin " click " empty !
Downloads " click " empty !

Storage Usage " Click " 27.4 Gb used 1.74 GB free.


Under that the page shows a box called " Refresh " Click on that, & nothing happens !

Below 'Refresh " it says ..

Have a Question ?

" Get Help "


Then as said, nothing, in the get help page, does anything to solve the problem.


There is no " next " box or anything to get you further along in the process ??

I have now tried 5 times, with the same dead end & nothing happening !
Oh Yes,
I was also on the... " Change where new content is downloaded to "
and all boxes, apart from the last one, are changed to: External Storage Device ( D : )

The last box on the page I think says " maps " but clicking on that box, gives no alternative so its stuck on C.

This is what it says ..

32 GB USB 3 ( D : ) : 29.45 GB ex FAT . Healthy ( Active Primary Partition.

Is this what you wanted to see ?

Open free mini tool
Use the print screen keyboard key and open paint and use paste

Open a reply here and right click in the reply editor and select paste.
Image should eventually show up here.

Sorry, Ive got as far as getting it copied, to Paint 3d
( The only Paint program , I can find ? )
Now I need step by step instructions on how do I get the screen shot from Paint 3D to here ?

Ok, I got the Settings & System bit, and I got there..
However, in the list of things, in that grey panel.. I have everything as shown in the help link.. Apart from " Clipboard "
It is not in my list ?
Is it some sort of Add on thing ? If so, how do I get it ?

Oh just in case it means anything, Im on an HP Stream .

If it's in paint 3d just go to file and name the sucker and save it to your desktop and upload it here with insert image.

Sorry, but in this Paint 3d , I cannot find " File " anywhere.
I have to go into " Menu " where the screen shot appears, as " Open "
" Browse Files "
" Saved Projects"
And nothing I do, moves the image, nor is " File " mentioned anywhere on the page.
Ill see if I can take a photo & put that on. Back in a mo.

I couldn't work out that paint thing, just like " Clip Board " did not appear anywhere, neither did " File "
