A couple of issues after upgrade to 1903

after update to 1903 i dont see the pop up when i have finished downloading a torrent.
i also dont see the "safe to remove device" when i unplug an external usb drive.
how do i change back the notification area like it was before updating to 1903?

You haven't said which program you are using to download.

tried all suggestions here except windows defender and the windows update from januari (or whenever it was) but i have installed all updates that my windows update have wanted me to. except the windows removal tool

Yeah, small mystery is why my pointer cursor changed to hourglass after 1903 upgrade. Oh well, easy fix but why?

i mange to get the "safe to remove device" if i:
1. turn off focus assist
2. dont close the windows explorer with my usb hdd. if i dont close this window the "safe to remove device" pops up but if i close this window before i click on "safe remove device" it doesnt show up
