    Stuck with 1803

I see that W10 build 1803 is loosing support on November 12 this year. My laptop has an Intel i3 6100U Skylake processor with W10 HP64 and has failed at least 6
    times since December last year.
    Codes are
    0x80240034 (twice)
    0x80070570 (four times)

    Hello mate,

Have you already tried to directly update to version 1903 using the Windows 10 Update Assistant?

Update to Latest Version of Windows 10 using Update Assistant

If you have and it failed, then you could download the Windows 10 version 1903 ISO file, and use it to upgrade to 1903.

    Download Windows 10 ISO File

    Upgrade to Windows 10

I don't mind downloading the W10 1903 ISO file, I assume there is an option to keep programs, etc without a clean install.
Hopefully, the old core 2 duo machine which we use at the museum where I am a volunteer can also be updated, that is where I was made aware of the lifespan.

Doing an upgrade install using the 1903 ISO will allow you to keep everything.

As I write this post, on my desktop, the laptop has downloaded the 1903 update. I have restarted and progress has reached 20%, I am crossing my fingers, lucky seven maybe.

It must have had a guilty conscience, I've just looked at the windows version and it is now 1903, build 18362.207.
I will try out your suggestions with the other one, and check the spare pc that doesn't get turned on often.
    Thanks Brink.

So far, I have used the upgrade assistant on three more pcs', a 970 AM3+ AMD, an 870 AM3+ AMD and a core 2 duo, all from 1803 to 1903. One more to go next week.
