I do not see any Iso files. No iso extension listed under default programs by file type.
The download screen was gone in the morning when I looked so I assume it finished and closed.

At step 9 you will have told it where to save the file:
Download Windows 10 ISO File
- assuming you used the MS media creation tool.
Otherwise if you've forgotten you can use file explorer open at My PC to search for
*.iso
Using the MS media tool. I downloaded the install file and installed it. This goes to the download screen. And I was checking the update this PC option. Doing the save the iso file now.....
And when isntalling the MS media tool does that crate a shortcut? Only way for me to do this is the reinstall it every time.
It did not update the OS as I am on windows 10 Home version 1809.
The media creation tool is an exe file. Keep that and you can run it again. It's not an installable program, as you seem to be suggesting.
Perhaps you need to make sure you always download things into your Downloads folder.
