stuck on expired 14986, TraceRpt.exe crashes trying to build log
When I boot into Windows I see a blue warning pop-up:
[More info] takes me to insider.windows.com.Code:Install a new build of Windows now This build of Windows has expired, so your PC will restart every few hours, and eventually will fail to start. Go online for more information. [More info] [Close]
I repeatedly have run Windows Update and see it download and install update "15063 (rs2_release)" but after every reboot I see that same blue expired build pop-up.
When I check Windows Reliability Monitor, it reports:
But when I check the Windows Settings / About page I still see Version 1607, OS Build 14986.1001.Code:Installation Successful: Windows successfully installed the following update: Windows 10 Insider Preview 15063 (rs2_release)
When I try to build the WindowsUpdate.log, TraceRpt.exe crashes.
I think I need to see the Windows Update log in order to see what's going wrong with the update, but how can I build the log if TraceRpt.exe crashes when trying to do so?Code:PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Get-WindowsUpdateLogConverting C:\WINDOWS\logs\WindowsUpdate into C:\Users\Chuck\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.log ...
