If you care to try it........ uninstall Mail & Calendar > go to Windows Store > reinstall Mail & Calendar.
This is the tutorial to uninstall Windows apps........ use Option Two.

Thanks for the heads up, might give it a go, to be honest I havent been too impressed with the recent builds so I'm using it less and less, I generally found the earlier builds quite stable
just had a go with option 2 , same problem as before but thanks anyway
I have 4 suggestions :
#1.) Run a system file check to look for corrupt files. If any found, it will try to do repair.
Right click at Start button > click Command Prompt (Admin) > at the flashing prompt, copy/paste this.......
sfc /scannow
> press Enter.
It will take quite sometime.
When finished, it will give you one of the 3 reports...............(paraphrasing)
1. No integrity violation.
2. Found corrupt files and repair successful.
3. Found corrupt files but unable to repair.
#2.) Go to Settings > Update & Security > left side, Recovery > right side, Go back to an earlier build > click the Get Started button.
#3.) Stay with this build 14291. Maybe it will sort itself out. Maybe next new build will be better.
#4.) Convert the esd file to Windows 10 ISO and do a repair install or a clean install.
ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File
My mail and calendar issues are fixed on build 14295
