Insider build 18990.1 cannot mount external HDD anymore
Hello fellow Windows 10 insiders,
I am using an external storage drive adapter from Orico (do you need specifics?). Since approximately the beginning of September I am unable to mount it into my Windows 10 insider desktop PC. It is running build 18990.1 currently but the problem has persisted for many builds already. It was working fine in August (until that fateful build by MSFT). When plugging in the external HDD the drive indicator does light up shortly but shuts off afterwards.
In device manager there is this icon close to the item called (translated from German): "USB-connected SCSI (UAS) mass storage device". If I open up the properties then the status reads (translated from German):
Does anyone else experience problems related to external HDDs or SSDs in latests insider builds? Do you have any idea how to fix this? I really do not want MSFT to ship a faulty release build. The device cannot be started. (Code 10)
"Not enough odds"
There are not enough quotas for virtual memory or the swap file for the specified operation.
Please help!
