If the computer is newly setup (ideally in Audit Mode), then you can create a Provisioning Package to hold the apps.
This does use the USMT as mentioned by Hippsie, although it's in a slightly different mode to the Migrations which USMT was originally designed for.
The idea of the provisioning package is that OEMs can install software, create a provisioning package, and then when the computer is reset, the software gets reinstalled from the provisioning package (as long as it's in the right folder, which is c:\recovery\customizations).
However it doesn't seem to work so well with software that requires registration - ideally you create the provisioning package before any users run software which is registered or where a licence is created (even a free one).
