Sounds like very good advice. Reported problems even from many of those who were able to install it make 16215 seem a build to keep away from.

I'm now in Safe Mode working with tweaking.com to fix everything it can. 199 is in so bad shape I can even do a clean reset - it rolls back. So I'm still looking at reinstalling 1703 and upgrading that and then rejoin insiders fast ring when a new build is finally released - looks like that may be next week. I'm assuming they are testing the hell out of 215. I suggest they check if they took out something besides the entire Ubuntu filesystem

Didn't see any posts on this, so I thought I'd throw out what I found and did. This was announced in a Tweet from Gabe Aul the other day. Seems what all refer to as Place Holders is now available for OneDrive in build 16215. This is not intended to get into the merits of cloud storage, whether it's good-bad-ugly. If you use OneDrive, you may want to experiment with it. It seems to work fine. Here are a few screenshots of the setup and results. It reduced my storage from 21.7GB down to 1.2MB, and still have instant access to the files for read and update.

Excellent section of a much larger, and equally interesting document, available from the left hand panel on the same page where Download PDF is the link to the 20MB PDF file.
One thing from the Webcast was the percentage completion of the upgrade set against the phase of the upgrade, and what is happening behind the scenes at the time, like this similar diagram from the PDF:

No new build today?
Let me try my luck again with 16215.
Went back to 199 and started the update again...
we'll see if I get lucky the 3rd time around....
